Illustration just for fun and training.
Inspirated in the new Pokemon Games of this year, the X and Y versions, and their Mega Pokemons, by Nintendo. I wanted to do a highly detailed illustration in contrast of my usual style, a simplyfied illustration in a plain background. The background and the limit of colors continue (I usually choose to illustrate using only 3 to 5 colors. This time, I used 5 colors). I created a badass, twisted, politically incorrect and angry variation of the Mega Blastoise, with a lot of dirty dots, sewer water smudges, scars and funny stickers.
Three weeks (between the jobs and email-marketings), five colors and Catchatronic, by Pogo.
